10.06.10. - Seven the Hardway, the a 5-piece progressive rock/metal band based in Southern California and formed in 2009 by guitar virtuoso Tony MacAlpine (Steve Vai, Planet X, CAB), drum master Virgil Donati (Planet X) and renowned vocalist Mark Boals (Uli Jon Roth, Royal Hunt, Yngwie Malmsteen) with bass player Doug Shreeve and Argentinian guitarist Estefania Daniel will appear on 13th October on A38 Boat.
14.05.10. - We are happy to announce, that after his successful show in Győr, Jon Lord visits Budapest again. On 18th September he'll arrive to Palace of Arts with a new programme with Győr Philharmonic Orchestra and Cry Free. Soloists will be Kasia Laska and Steve Balsamo.

- REDEEM
- this rock band from Switzerland will warm up the audience
prior to Gotthard; probably a Hungarian band will appear
too, we're in the phase of last negotiations.
31.08.07. - Unfortunately we have
some bad news for today: the House of Lords won't
play before Tony MacALpine. As the management of HOS
announced, the band stays still in the studio, their
new album will be released later, so the whole tour
is delayed till April-May next year.

- We've got only one date from Ken
Hensley - 2nd of November. The A38 Ship won'T
be free on that day. ... maybe the Wigwam ...?

- Unfortunately, we won't meet the "Holy Trinity":
the Axxis, for unknown for us reasons, won't play before
Helloween and
Gamma Ray, at
least in Budapest. We try to convince the management
to let a Hungarian band play isntead.
Better to hear that the
new Helloween CD is in the phase of mixing!
Some
weeks ago the singer of Threshold,
Mac left the band all of a sudden, leaving the
group in trouble, because of their concerts on summer
festivals and their autumn tour... Finally they have
found the substitute quite quickly. The new leader
will be Damian
Wilson - he is not really new, in fact, as he
has been singing on some Threshold albums, but he has
never been in Hunfary. We hope, he has learnt the new
songs too!
Master
Dokken hopefully will arrive with his new album
stuff!
As for the Tony MacAlpine
concert: we negotiate with House Of Lords' management;
the situation is similar as it was in case of Spock's
Beard and Paul Gilbert: the House
Of Lords probably will present a long
(1-1,5 hour lond) concert right before the great guitarists's
one! No change in prices - double pleasure!
We also negotiate with Ken
Hensley again as for the compensation of the
concert cancelled two times last year. All things
are arranged, the only point is the date: one day
in October. We're aware that many people didn't reconverted
their tickets - those ones will be valid for this
concerts!
The Darkest Hour was planned as one of participating
bands on the Eastpak Antidote Tour - presented
by Vans -, but just before we could
have announced it, Chimaira has taken its place. Some
weeks ago Chimaira also resigned because of discussions
between the band members and also for some health
problems. However, it serves the fans of Dark Tranquility!
At this moment the participating bands are as follows:
Caliban, Soilwork,
Dark Tranquility, Sound Syndicate. We do hope,
this is the final list!
The Helloween
and the Gamma Ray
will bring us their new album stuff on 16th November!
As we have announced, the first step of this tour unique
in the bands' history, will be Budapest.
After the concert on the Sziget Festival which was
a huge success we are proud to announce that the great
"American" - multi-national, in fact - band,
the Gogol Bordello
will visit us again in our organization on 23rd November.
Unfortunately there's no bigger room for that day
than A38 Ship - if Petőfi Hall will occur free, we'll
change the location! On Sziget Fastival there will
be some 25 000 people interested in the band playing
innovative ska-punk music ... Tickets will be available
soon - in limited number.
