After the UK dates, Jethro Tull have recently announced their European concerts for 2026. The Curiosity Tour focuses on their body of work spanning 24 albums from 1968 to the present day, while also placing special emphasis on their latest release, Curious Ruminant. They play in Budapest on the 23rd August 2026.
Jethro Tull began performing regularly in January 1968 at the legendary Marquee Club in London. By the end of the following year, as momentum continued to build, they were already playing theatres and concert halls across the country – much as they still do today, albeit perhaps with a few more grey hairs.
And although part of their audience has by now reached retirement age, they still set off from time to time with youthful enthusiasm to watch a group of older guys enjoying themselves on stage. Because that is exactly what Ian Anderson and his band are doing: racing up and down fretboards and keyboards with youthful, agile, lightning-fast fingers, seemingly with ease and confidence.
Once again, the familiar line-up arrives: David Goodier on bass, John O’Hara on keyboards, Scott Hammond behind the drums, and the new member, Jack Clark, on guitar.
